Accomplishments: Met Bob Gilbertson,owner of the Trick Tank/ Chic Wear Top Fuel Funny car when I moved to Oregon to go to College after being discharged from the service in 1974.
Bob was just completing his first Alcohol funny car. We became very good friends and I ended up wrenching for him and spent the next 5 years running the West coast circuit. Quite an initiation into the sport I must say.
