Accomplishments: After racing in the 1970's, I returned to competition with my sons in Junior Dragsters in 1994. This stared out as something for the boys to do when I returned to racing myself, but became a full time effort until 2000. We have had a great time racing as a family and traveling around the country following the JR National Championships. In 2000 we took delivery of my dragster making a three car team.
In 2003 the Back Family will be competing in Super Pro (Chuck), Pro (Ben), Street Legal (Brian), JR Super Pro (Brian) as well as assisting Traci Bastian with one of our original JR Dragsters. As we pass the JR Dragster to Traci and Bob we add a Malibu (Chuck Johns)for Ben and Camaro for Brian.
We have been racing with the Glenn, Newton and Mort families for eight years and it is families like these that make this sport so enjoyable.
