I was Thompson Drag Raceway's 1986 S/P Champ. I
made the IHRA Bracket Finals team for Thompson 86,87,88,89,90,91,92 At NRP
ended up in 3rd place for their comp class in 89, and 5th place for 90, I
won the Comp class at the Halloween Classic in 1992. My ex-wife Chris and
I ran Top Dragster, for as long as our wallet lasted. We Made the
NHRA Bracket team in 1999, and 2000. In 2001 we won the S/P championship,
and the Track Championship at Quaker City. We were in the trailer race and
also for 2002 we were in the trailer race and the Koffel's engine race...
and made the bracket team both yrs. for IHRA
I'm in my dream race car ... I just want to
get it a little quicker so that dragsters have to work a little harder to
get by me at top end. Most memorable race was running Flickinger, for
track Championship, and trailer race. He cut a .505 and a .506 light, not
bad for one of those old footbrakers, against my 2 .515 lights... what can
I say... he's the best.. I got involved in racing because I liked
going fast, QUICKLY... and never grew out of it, and love the
competition... Anything my daughter Traci and I can do together...
I'm trying to beef up the car to go a little quicker... and still
maintain the reliability my engines have had... And try for the Championship...with all the other 300 cars.
