Donitzen (pictured) drove his 'Fireball' to the overall combo race victory
Friday night, over Les Hobbs. Donitzen defeated a dead-on Matt Sam
in the Box final, while Hobbs advanced his street Firebird to the combo
final by stopping former NRP champ Brian Willingham in the No-Box final
with a .500 light. Donitzen and Hobbs are now qualified for the
September 26th runoff race for a 2003 Worthy Dragster!
